This tired old Deco armchair had a saggy bottom and broken springs. The frame was solid but needed repair. It was transformed with new springs, webbing, hessian, lots of upholstery stitches, new horsehair and cotton felt. Once the shape and comfort was returned it was time for the fun bit. The top fabrics are faux leather and handwoven cotton Ikat. All finished off with smart pewter studs. Simply gorgeous and so comfortable. Do you have a similar chair you’d like me to transform?
