After years as a dancer and costume designer/maker with Pedralta World Fusion Dance my love of textiles, colour and design led to a passion for upholstery and the creation of Urban Chair. I particularly enjoy traditional techniques involving springs, hair and cotton felt. I love the idea of renewal and the recycling treasured pieces, rather than replacing with cheap high street items. It’s so much better for the environment and customers get to have something unique and special. I work with clients to create or restore bespoke furniture for their homes or businesses.
